This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for – we’ve completed the Google Calendar 2-way sync and we couldn’t have done it without your help.
Google Calendar 2-way Sync
Once you authorize the integration for the specified board, cards with due date will automatically be added to Google Calendar. Any events created in that calendar will automatically be added to the board as well.
All changes you make in Google Calendar or Planyway reflect instantly in the other.
To start using Google Calendar 2-way sync click “Google Calendar Sync” in “Calendars” menu, authorize with your Google account and after that, a new calendar with the same name as the board will be created. Each board will then have the option to sync with Google Calendar.
Now, Due Date is the Start Date
We made this change for event cards because of the overwhelming requests.
With event cards, the Due Date and time is the Start Date and time.
In our previous versions, the Due Date continues to be the End Date and your events from the previous versions will not change even when you update Planyway to the newest version unless you modify the date or time in the card then Due Date will be the Start Date.
All-Day or Multi-Day cards have Start and End dates (without time), not using due date/time.
External calendars colors
Another useful option is the ability to color code your external calendars to avoid mixing things up. To do that, just highlight the wanted calendar in “Calendars” menu, click edit icon and choose a new color.
